BIOGRAPHY

Born in Hitchin Hertfordshire in 1958. In the UK, Martin now lives in Letchworth Hertfordshire. He worked in the Aerospace Industry at BAe for a number of years,  always been interested in Aviation Art he joined the Guild of Aviation Artist’s in August 2002.
In April 2005 Martin received the Frank Wootton Regional Award from the Guild of Aviation Artists. This Award is given to improving artists and is set up in the memory of the Guilds founder member the Late Frank Wootton OBE GAvA. This Award was presented at the AGM by Mr. Michael Turner P & F. GAvA.

Martin has exhibited and sold his works at the Guild of Aviation Artists
Annual Exhibition in the Mall Galleries London. The “Aviation Paintings
of the Year” is a focal point in the Guilds calendar.In the Summer of
2017 Martin joined the American Society of Aviation Artists.

Martin received ‘The Alex Henshaw Trophy’ for his painting called "Comet Racer".
The Award was received during the private view of Guild of Aviation Artists Annual Exhibition on Monday the 9th July 2018
The Trophy was presented by Ex-RAF test pilot Mr. Desmond Penrose.
